Who are we?
The Friends of Hurworth Primary School PTA was formed on 27 June 2019 by a group of motivated parents, since then the PTA committee has seen many changes and efforts continue to this day to enhance the overall experience for the pupils of Hurworth Primary School

Our Purpose
Welcome to the Friends of Hurworth Primary School PTA website. We are a parent run PTA group affiliated with Hurworth Primary School, our aim to raise funds for the school to contribute towards enhancing the pupils experience at the school, we do this by holding regular events, both within and outside of the school setting.
The PTA has achieved a lot over the years, with funds raised being put towards various good uses! To name a few, new reading huts at the rear of the school, scooters & helmets, PTA hut at reception where regular school uniform sales are held, as well as contributions towards off site trips and regular in school activity days, Captain Chemistry is a particular favourite
